Permaculture Design Course
18th July - 28th September 2025
Teaching the fundamentals of regenerative design and self-sufficiency for those wanting to make it work where they are or those planning to scale up and move onto bigger land. This course is a complete paradigm shift, teaching exactly how humanity can become completely beneficial to the land they live on, and ride the waves of social, economic and environmental collapse. Students will learn the complete regenerative design process from site analysis to implementation.

Course Calendar
Classes are held every weekend from 18th July to 28th September. The course culminates with a 3-day campout weekend with practical lessons at Zaytuna Farm.
Introduction to Permaculture & Ethics
Foundations of permaculture thinking, ethics, and principles. Understanding the design framework.
Reading the Landscape
Site analysis techniques, observation methods, and understanding natural patterns.
Climate & Microclimates
Climate factors, creating beneficial microclimates, and sector analysis.
Water in the Landscape
Hydrology, water harvesting, swales, dams, and keyline design principles.
Soil & Soil Biology
Understanding soil ecosystems, building soil fertility, composting, and regeneration.
Trees & Forest Systems
Agroforestry, food forests, shelter belts, and timber systems.
Food Production Systems
Gardens, orchards, annual and perennial systems, and integrated production.
Animals in the System
Integrating animals, rotational grazing, poultry systems, and aquaculture.
Urban Permaculture, Buildings & Energy
Urban permaculture strategies, natural building, passive solar design, renewable energy systems.
Social Permaculture & Economics
Community design, economic systems, and making projects viable.
Design Practicum & Graduation
3-day campout weekend with practical lessons at Zaytuna Farm. Complete your design project, site tours, and graduation ceremony.
