2. How we use and share it

We use your information to:

  • Process your booking or enquiry and take payment.

We share it only with:

  • Stripe, to process card payments and prevent fraud.

  • Our accountant or bookkeeper, for tax and accounting.
  • Anyone else only with your consent, or where the law requires it.

We never sell your personal information or share it for other businesses' marketing.

Overseas. Some of these providers, including Stripe, may store or process information outside Australia, for example in the United States. We only use providers that keep personal information secure.

3. Storage, cookies and emails

Security. We store your information securely, limit access to the people who need it, and use encrypted connections on our websites.

How long we keep it. We keep booking, payment and invoice records for 5 years to meet tax and accounting requirements. Health information you give us for a course is kept only until the course ends. Other information is deleted or de-identified when we no longer need it.

Cookies. Our course website uses cookies to make the booking system work, such as keeping track of your cart and recording how you found our site. Stripe also sets cookies to process payments securely and prevent fraud. We don't use advertising cookies. Our main website, samparkerdavies.com, doesn't set any cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but online booking may not work without them.

Emails. We'll email you about your booking or project. We'll only send you news or marketing emails if you've agreed to receive them, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

4. Your rights and contacting us

Access and correction. You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. We'll respond within 30 days. In rare cases the law may let us refuse, for example where we must keep tax records, and we'll explain why.

Complaints. If you're concerned about how we've handled your information, please contact us first. We'll acknowledge your complaint within 5 business days and aim to resolve it within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

Changes to this policy. We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on our website, with the date it was last updated.
